Textile Art Landscapes
Saturday 10th March 2018
Justine has a fantastic reputation as a maker of textile based artworks, and is well know for running inspirational workshops. You'll have the opportunity to work with Justine, developing the process of making a landscape using recycled materials and found objects. Using materials provided along with any you bring, you'll work up a number of samples will be made with the view of creating a final piece.
All students will need to bring their own sewing machine to use for the day. If a free machine embroidery foot is available it could be used to embellish the work throughout the day.
Only basic prior knowledge will be required.

An Introduction to Printmaking - One Year Course
2017/18 fully booked - will run again in 2018/19. Let us know if you are interested!
Patrick will work with a small group of people to explore a wide variety of printmaking techniques including monoprint, collograph, etching, linocut, drypoint and more.
All materials are included in the price of the course.
Price - £185 per term
Time: 1.30 – 4.30 Monday afternoons
Dates – every 2 weeks, 3 terms, 6 sessions per term

Textile Portfolio Course
2017/18: 3 places now available on Spring and Summer terms (afternoons)
Will run again in 2018/19.

Over the course of the year Justine will explore many and varied aspects of working creatively with a range of textiles - Kunin felt, Tyvek, free machine embroidery, heat shrink fabric and more... Building a portfolio of their work, everyone will be encouraged to participate in a show at Lund Gallery ant the end of the course.
Price : £150 per term (2018/19)
Time : Fridays 9.30 am - 12.00 or 1.00 til 3.30 pm

A 6 week programme designed to stimulate your own artistic adventure in the company of other like-minded individuals.
A relaxed and light hearted session which aims to encourage creative exploration and experimentation. Bring your own projects along or join in the weekly topic. Debbie will be on-hand to provide practical advice and support in all media.
Demonstrations and fun exercises will be part of the session. Suitable for all levels.
Some basic materials provided, other materials available to purchase.
If weather permits we will work outside in our lovely grounds.
