Patrick is be running a series of four one-day print classes, running from September 2018 to June 2019, exploring a range of printmaking techniques including monoprint, collograph, etching and linocut. 

All are on Saturdays 10am to 4pm

Monoprinting using drawing and masking techniques – experimenting with the very direct printing technique


The plan is that if you book on to all four, you'll end up with a great overview of print techniques. 

During the year we're also hoping offering 'open print' days for anyone on these courses - time with access to the presses, with Patrick on hand for tuition and guidance.

About Patrick

Patrick Smith is an accomplished artist practising in fine art and printmaking. He has work in many private collections both nationally and internationally. Patrick studied painting and printmaking at Leeds Metropolitan University where he was awarded the William Tier memorial award for Landscapes and Erasmus scholarship to train at the Utrecht School of the Arts in Holland. He has a long history of teaching and sharing his practice, having taught for many years to degree level plus running courses and workshops across the North:
